So excited! Today we received our certificate from The American College of Sexologists International! Our 500+ hours of training with The Institute of Authentic Tantra was so extensive, it qualified us to be Certified Sexologists!
What does this mean? According to their website: “An ACS Certified Sexologist will have credentials that qualify them to offer sex therapy, sex counseling or sexological research and hold a doctoral level or terminal degree in their chosen field from an accredited or approved institution of higher learning. Those practicing in states requiring licenses to practice sex therapy, sex counseling, (often an extension of Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Counseling or Psychology/Psychiatry licensing) may use their license in lieu of a doctorate.” We are really excited about the possibilities that lie ahead!
